What do you need in a Paintball Game

So what is it that you need to play a typical game of paintball? Well old clothes that you do not mind getting dirty is a good start, just don't forget to shower after wearing them. You will most likely be tagged out and though paintballs are water soluble, they will stain.

You could purchase cheap Army clothes for $10 or just find some long sleeve dark clothing and try use common sense and think "what will blend in with the environment the best"? Remember that even though paintballs travel at safe speeds, they can still tear skin and harm others.

There is no need to go crazy and wear 5 layers of clothing, two layers will work just fine and remember to bring extra clothes incase the weather makes a sudden change. For your feet it's recommended to wear something that will support your ankles and is comfortable such as boots or sneakers and remember once again, something you don't mind getting dirty.

You'll be constantly on the move and running around and some fields will be muddy from previous weather conditions or may even have water on the field. While comfort and clothes you are fine with being dirty are well, protection is something else you should be thinking about. There are neckguards to protect your neck and there's nothing worse than having a lump on your throat for a day or more.

Depending on the field, some fields may have a snack bar and while some of them are reasonable in price, it's always better to bring your own snacks. There's not much you need to play paintball physically anyway because the field will always have anything you're missing on you.

They will have everything from paintballs, safety equipment, air, protection, ect. The most important thing to bring is yourself and to enjoy the day and remember that choosing a field for the first time can be difficult but be sure to find a good sized field with a good number of referees.

It's always best to invest into your own gear as sometimes the gear you can rent will cost you more money and can't always be reliable because you don't know if they take care of their gear the way they should. With any sport, it will be confusing at first but remember to keep your head in the game and keep your gear top notch and you'll be an expert in no time.
